The biggest shock moment of this season’s Game Of Thrones was Daenerys Targaryen’s inferno of a nude scene at the close of Book Of The Stranger.
After declaring she was done with nude scenes, Emilia Clarke bared all for the scene and swiftly made it known that no double was required.
“I’d like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3,” she said. “That was a while ago. It’s now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said ‘Yes.’ There ain’t no body double!”
Tragically, this has meant a lack of Rosie Mac, Clarke’s body double throughout season five of Game Of Thrones.
The actress and model worked on the fifth season of Thrones but sadly wasn’t asked back for the sixth run.
“I won’t be working as a double in series six I was never fired. My not returning to the show was very much a mutual decision,” she told the Express in an interview last year.
“I was only contracted to do the show for six weeks during season five while they were filming in Spain and I fulfilled my contract.”
Game Of Thrones’ loss is the movie world’s gain; Mac will make her big screen debut in 2017’s Little Mermaid.
Mac is in the lead role for the film, which is based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale.
