Footage from an epic 20-man brawl that took place in Leeds pub on a busy Saturday night has been released online.
West Yorkshire Police put the footage online in an attempt to get help tracking down the culprits involved in the unsavoury incident.
The fight took place at The Arc bar in Headingley, Leeds, just after 12:30am on Saturday February 17th, and involved at least 20 revellers.
Punches were thrown, kicks came flying in and there were even a few stamps thrown in for good measure as things got increasingly ugly.
At one point, a couple of blokes can be seen lobbing chairs, while the bouncers attempting to break things up have a tough time of things.
At one point, several women attempt to calm things down, but one ends up being elbowed in the face.
It’s thought that the fight started between a couple of blokes before things got out of control, with glasses smashed, furniture damaged and even a bit of blood for good measure.
Commenting on the incident, West Yorkshire Police Detective Inspector James Entwistle said:
“These were some very ugly scenes where people were punched, kicked and stamped on and glasses and chairs were thrown.
“The video shows how there was very little that the bar’s security could do to control the situation and it was clearly a shocking thing for staff and other people in the bar to witness.
“We are treating this as an incident of violent disorder and are carrying out enquiries to identify those involved.”
The police are now appealing for witnesses after several of those involved made a run for it when the police turned up on the scene.
One 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder but has since been released.
