A FIFA 17 glitch has been uncovered that will allegedly allow you to conquer one of the game’s greatest challenges: mastering set pieces.
Each new instalment tweaks the game engine, meaning finding the back of the net from a corner or free kick is more difficult than getting consistent performances out of Wayne Rooney.
However, the hack uncovered by YouTuber Kosh may hold the key to unlocking everything. Kosh, like many FIFA fans, has been blitzing the demo and has discovered that the glitch leads to glory “99% of the time”.
Apparently, all it takes is a short corner to turn the opposition goalkeeper into a gibbering Joe Hart-like wreck.
Watch the FIFA 17 glitch explained in full by Kosh:
Kosh explained: “The glitch is simple. You want to call a player to you when you’re taking a corner, you want to press LT [on Xbox or L2 on PlayStation] as soon as you get the corner so the player comes to you.
“Then you want to press LT [or L2] again when you get the ball with the player to move to the byline of the corner and then take a cross straight away, and the keepers get glitched.
“I don’t know how it happened but the keepers get glitched and can’t get close to the ball and you have a very very good chance to score the goal.
“This glitch works like 99% of the time. I mean 99.9% of the time, you’re probably going to score from it but I guarantee you’re going to get the cross in and you’re probably going to get a header on the ball like 100% of the time.”
With the goalie in no man’s land, the only thing stopping you hitting the onion bag, Kosh explains, is if a defender roams between you and the goal line to clear away.
You’ll be able to test this out for yourself when FIFA 17 is released on September 27.
