Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is making her solo comeback – and she’s kicked off her promo in spectacular fashion.
A decade after the release of her first solo record, 2006’s The Dutchess, she’s finally poised to release its follow-up later this year.
Titled Double Dutchess (we see what you did there, Fergie!), the debut single will be titled MILF$ and premiere soon.
The 41-year-old revealed a black and white topless photo on her official Instagram account alongside the caption: “This just leaked….aaahhhh!!! Oh well, here it is.”
Prior to that she premiered an extended video clip titled Hungry (2nd Byte), showcasing lightning fast edit and quick shots of her clad in a black leather catsuit.
On this evidence, Fergie’s new tunes can’t get here fast enough.
Double Dutchess has been in the works since 2012, but her future in the Black Eyed Peas appears to be in doubt after she passed on the chance to reunite with the group earlier this year at The O2 in London.
Will.i.am said at the time: “I wanted to give you guys a snap shot of this. Three years ago I did The O2 by myself, it was great but that sh*t was boring cause these guys weren’t there.
“I love you motherf**kers. This feels really good to be here with the people who were the seed of everything.”
Fergie is currently in the middle of a world tour and due to play the UK’s Wireless Festival next month before heading to the US and Japan.
As yet, there’s no confirmed date for the release of Double Dutchess.
