It’s already been described as the Batman Begins of Power Rangers movies and while the new-look fab five differ from their on-screen counterparts in many respects, they do share one similarity – they’re good friends, despite their differing backgrounds.
In an exclusive video interview with loaded, Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G and Ludi Lin reveal the secret to how they quickly bonded as a group.
Filling the shoes of the original Power Rangers, who won a special place in the hearts of a whole generation that tuned in to watch them fight Rita Repulsa and her assorted army of Putties and giant monsters, looked a daunting task on paper.
But as the new cast explain in the clip below, they managed to do exactly that thanks to a unique chemistry that saw each member bring something special to the screen – much like their Power Rangers counterparts.
The interview also sees the gang shed some light on what goes on behind the scenes, which of the group have emerged as something of a “tweedle-dee, tweedle-dum” duo and which of them can regularly be found working out at the gym at the crack of dawn.
