Film sets are usually harmonious places where actors, filmmakers and crew get on famously and indulge in plenty of back-slapping when it comes time to promote the movie they’ve slaved over for months.
Not so Fast & Furious 8, which hit the headlines recently thanks to an explosive feud between stars Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel.
Johnson opened fire in an Instagram post calling his male co-stars “candy asses”, before it was later revealed that The Rock was embroiled in a battle with Vin Deisel.
Diesel might be a producer on the $3 billion Fast series, but according to The Hollywood Reporter this doesn’t excuse him from diva behaviour on set in the eyes of The Rock.
The fight allegedly began when Diesel delayed filming on one of Johnson’s final scenes because he was still in his trailer.
The 90-degree Atlanata heat caused Johnson to boil over – he’s already been wound up by Diesel constantly holding up filming throughout the 100-day shoot.

A confrontation happened the next day, with Diesel hitting out at Johnson for a joke in his HBO series Ballers in which The Rock’s character described himself as “a bigger, better looking” version of the Fast star.
The feud is apparently over and done with after clear the air talks between the two action stars.
“What happened is over, and no one expects there to be any lingering effects,” a source revealed. “When it comes time to promote the movie, this will have no bearing.”
Fast & Furious 8, which introduces new star Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren and Scott Eastwood to the saga, will open in cinemas in April 2017.
