Exclusive video: Don Cheadle reveals HUGE Captain America: Civil War spoilers

*He may or may not have been joking...

Bad news for Marvel fans eagerly anticipating the release of Captain America: Civl War  – Don Cheadle says most of the cast meet their makers.

Speaking exclusively to Loaded in London, War Machine himself forecast a pretty gloomy outlook for everyone. But it’s OK, we’re pretty sure he was only joking…

“I’ve only told one other person, so you’re getting a big scoop,” he teased. “Most everyone in the movie dies!

“Captain America, War Machine, Iron Man, Hawk…who else? The Vision, yeah, almost everybody…Black Widow, Spider-man, it’s a wipeout.”

Iron Man’s right hand man War Machine, aka James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes, is set to have more impact than in previous Marvel instalments, with Cheadle previously admitting: “I never know where the character’s going to go, but he’s become more and more. And in the next one, you’ll see that what happens to Rhodey is a little bit more intense and pivotal to what happens in the rest of the stories.”

Fans have speculated that what could be pivotal to the plot could be that Rhodes dies, giving Tony Stark extra incentive to seek justice. The film’s trailer certainly seems to lend to that theory, with Iron Man taking an unconscious Rhodey’s mask off after Winter Soldier appears to shoot him out of the sky.

Time will tell, if today is anything to go by, Cheadle himself certainly will not…

Hello, Is there anybody in there?
Hello, Is there anybody in there? Will Rhodey survive?

Now, with just weeks until the release of the film, he’s very much sworn to secrecy about what lies ahead.

Cheadle was in London promoting Miles Ahead, the biopic of jazz great Miles Davis which he co-wrote, directed, produced and played the lead role. Loaded will have a full interview with Cheadle about the film soon…

Watch the trailer for Miles Ahead, out on Aprill 22, below.
