Daniel Stern reunites with Home Alone ‘cast mate’ in bizarre video

Don’t worry folks, it’s not Joe Pesci.

Daniel Stern, perhaps best known for his portrayal of Marv, one half of the Wet Bandits – later renamed the Sticky Bandits – in Home Alone, appears to be hankering for a sequel.

It comes after the veteran actor and the voice behind The Wonder Years, posted a bizarre video online in which he claims to have been reunited with one of his former Home Alone co-stars.

The title of the clip probably had fans of the John Hughes comedy chomping at the bit to see who it was.

Was it the man himself, Macaulay Culkin? Perhaps he had finally coaxed a reappearance out of the long-retired Joe Pesci? Heck, at this stage we’d take his bastard of an older brother, Buzz.

In the end though, it turned out to be none of them, though the clip still provided some amusement.

Because hiding under a sheet of paper and a plastic bucket was none other than a tarantula that appeared eerily similar to the one last seen crawling across Stern’s face in the 1990 film.

Best of all, Marv even recreated the hilariously high-pitched scream from the film.

The clip is the second time in recent months that Stern has made reference to Home Alone, having previously starred in a clip, in character as Marv, calling out Culkin’s Kevin McCallister.

Is someone hankering for a sequel? We sure hope so.
