Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz’s UFC 202 press conference turned violent yesterday. And we mean seriously violent.

The MMA stars’ fiery rivalry ratcheted up a notch ahead of Saturday’s rematch when Diaz bailed on the press conference after McGregor turned up 30 minutes late.

Other UFC 202 stars Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixeira were present at the Q&A, but all attention was focused on Diaz and McGregor.

Diaz flipped the bird to McGregor on his way out of the room, prompting the Irishman’s rage to boil over as he called Diaz’s crew “crackhead esés” and yelled, “shut your f**king mouth you’ll do nothing”.

Then all hell broke loose as bottles were hurled across the room, with McGregor seizing giant cans of Monster energy drink and turning them into deadly missiles.

It took the intervention of UFC security and Dana White to get McGregor to simmer down.

“Sorry guys, see you Saturday,” White said.

UFC 202 will take place this Saturday night, August 20, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
