After years of badmouthing the wrestling world, UFC champion Conor McGregor is allegedly planning a move to WWE.
McGregor’s agent has revealed the MMA fighter would be open to offers from the sports entertainment company – could we se him fighting the likes of John Cena and The undertaker soon?
Speaking on the Five Rounds podcast, McGregor’s agent Audie Attar said: “If [WWE] is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it.”
He added: “We are here. Have their people call his people – which is me. We can have a conversation.”
A move to WWE would be a huge shakeup for Conor McGregor, who is currently going through the most successful period of his career.
He is the current UFC Featherweight Champion and UFC Lightweight Champion. He became the first simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history after beating Eddie Alvarez earlier this month.
McGregor would be a huge draw for WWE fans, but he’s been very vocal in his dislike for the wrestling world in the past. He even sensationally hit out at wrestling community earlier this year on Twitter.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.

Writing in August, McGregor said: “I didn’t mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I’d slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday’s.”
Could McGregor eat his words and join WWE at some point over the next few years? Fingers crossed…
