Chrissy Teigen is having one of those weeks on Twitter where pretty much everything she touches turns to social media gold.

The Lip Sync Battle co-host has fast emerged as something of a heroine in the online world, thanks to a string of tweets defending both herself and the most downtrodden in society.

Teigen has been busy fighting fires yet again this week, starting with the issue of Donald Trump and his executive orders on immigration and refugees.

Criticised by one Twitter troll who called on Teigen to stop donating money to the American Civil Liberties Union and instead welcome “these people” into her home, Teigen had the perfect response.

Namely that she already had an immigrant living in her home. Her mother, Vilaluck Teigen.

Both Teigen and her husband John Legend have been vocal critics of Trump’s ban, and even hit out at the President during an appearance at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

In another example of Teigen’s ability to take down even the most vicious of trolls, the presenter slammed another social media goblin who decided to poke fun at Teigen’s decision to have IVF.

Tweeting in response to rumours she was planning to have another child, Teigen noted that the plan was to have a boy but, at present, she was not pregnant.

“Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah,” she tweeted

It didn’t take user Linda Wampler to respond with the snide remark “did you give it a minute to try naturally or are you avoiding “the act?” At least no political rants!”

Teigen had little time for the Trump-loving troll though, responding”: “Hi Linda, thanks for asking, you complete witch. I tried for about 9 years. Anything else, let me know!”

So if you ever find yourself on trouble online with no one to turn too, then you need the Teigen team. Or something like that anyway.
