Charlie Sheen has responded to the allegations he sexually assaulted late teen star Corey Haim, categorically denying any wrongdoing in a short statement made by a representative of the Wall Street star.
The allegations were first made by Dominick Brascia, a friend of the late Haim, who told The National Enquirer that The Lost Boys actor had sex with Sheen while filming Lucas in 1986.
“Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed ‘Lucas,'” Brascia told The Enquirer. “He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.” Haim was just 13 at the time the movie was made, while Sheen was 19.
“Charlie Sheen categorically denies these allegations,” a statement made to The Hollywood Reporter read. Haim passed away, aged just 38, back in 2010 following a lengthy battle with drug addiction.
Since his death, fellow child star and friend Corey Feldman has alleged both he amd Haim were the victims of a Hollywood paedophile ring.
Feldman also recently appeared on TV to accuse another actor, Jon Grissom, of sexual assault back in the 1980s and included a story about Haim being a victim of sexual assault while making Lucas in his book, Coreyography.
In the book, Feldman details an alleged encounter between Haim and an “adult” co-star who is not named. Feldman claims that Haim was apparently told “it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ‘what all guys do’.”
“So they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers during a lunch break for the cast and crew,” Feldman wrote, “and Haim, innocent and ambitious as he was, allowed himself to be sodomized.”
In 2011, the Enquirer also claims Feldman said the following about Sheen: “I’m not a huge fan of Charlie Sheen…especially the way he’s affected other people that I know.”
Los Angeles police are now investigating Feldman’s claims, while the actor is attempting to raise $10 million for a documentary he says will expose the perpetrators. Corey Haim’s mother remains unconvinced by Feldman’s allegations though, having previously referred to the actor as a “scam artist”.
