Can you tell the different between tennis moans and porn sounds?

This handy video quiz will clear it up once and for all

Tennis or porn? You tell us Image Adidas

As anyone tuning in to Wimbledon will tell you, tennis players love and good mid-game moan.

Whether it’s Serena Williams or Andy Murray, few are completely immune to the urge to let out a primeval crime every time they connect with the ball.

You can hardly blame them either – professional tennis puts an incredible amount of mental and physical strain on an individual.

So when you do connect perfectly with that ball, whether you have run the width of the grass court or made a dash for the net, you want to need to release something.

But maybe that is where the confusion lies, because, for some, the sound emitted by the average player is akin to the noise made when engaging in a release of a very different kind.

It got loaded thinking: if you close your eyes during a tennis match on the telly, does it sound a bit like you are watching porn.

And we are not the first ones to think this either. In fact, Shape magazine already tested the theory earlier this year.

The result is the video-based quiz classic Tennis or Porn, in which ordinary members of the public are quizzed on their listening skills.

Played a series of grunts and cries, they must work out which come from the tennis court and which come from the set of Smouldering Bongos 3.

And while it may sound juvenile to most, we can assure you that the results are anything but.

So how well will you score?
