There’s just no stopping James Corden, who over the weekend teamed up with Cindy Crawford and Elton John separately in videos for The Late Late Show in the States.
Crawford, who announced her plans to retire from modelling last week, teamed up with Corden to parody her 1992 Pepsi Super Bowl ad. The hilarious video was aired after last night’s game.
Former Gavin And Stacey star Corden poured himself into a pair of tight denim cutoffs and a white tank top alongside a seemingly ageless Crawford for the video. He’s seen helping her at a vending machine when she couldn’t work it.
Crawford, who turns 50 on February 20, shared a snap of the pair in the matching outfits on her Instagram over the weekend with the message: ‘Who wore it best? @Jkcorden and I recreated my iconic Super Bowl commercial – tune into @latelateshow on Sunday after the game to see more!’
Corden’s special edition of the show was part of US network CBS’ post-game programming line-up. His show followed a special live episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, which featured Tina Fey, Margot Robbie, Will Ferrell, Megyn Kelly and Key & Peele.
Meanwhile, Corden has also teamed up with Elton John for the newest instalment of Carpool Karaoke, which will air on Wednesday (February 10).
The two met up in John’s garage and drove through the rain in LA while belting out some of his greatest hits including Your Song, Crocodile Rock and Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.
John admitted to Corden that he is “a terrible dancer” which is why he went “so flamboyant” with his stage outfits.
Their Carpool Karaoke session follows Chris Martin performing a host of Coldplay songs last week in a warm-up to the Super Bowl, which featured Corden and the singer pretending to share a hotel room together as Martin struggled to make it to San Francisco for his band’s performance.
Previous Carpool Karaoke singers have also included Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey and Adele.
