Entertainment Weekly reunited the cast of Buffy the Vampire this week, to mark the 20th anniversary of the show’s debut.
And while there were a couple of notable absentees – Anthony Head and Eliza Dushku – some of the former cast members in attendance proved they are still more than capable of turning heads, two decades on.
Charisma Carpenter made her name on Buffy as mean girl turned goodie Cordelia Chase, a role she would later reprise on the hit spin-off series Angel.
Though somewhat off the radar to UK fans, Carpenter has remained almost ever-present on TV screens in the US.
Over the years, she’s appeared on some of the biggest shows on the planet, including Charmed, Sons Of Anarchy, Supernatural, Burn Notice and CSI.
Because, sooner or later, everyone does CSI.
Anyway, alongside her TV work, Carpenter has also featured in several notable films including The Expendables and The Expendables 2, where she played Lacy the girlfriend of Jason Statham’s character, Lee Christmas.
In any case, it would appear that the passing of time has been kind to Carpenter, though it’s worth noting that she’s definitely not alone in that respect when it comes to the Buffy cast.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, for example, is just as stunning as she ever was with the entire photo shoot leaving loaded pining for just one more series of Buffy with all the original gang back in place.
We can only hope.
