The daughter of wrestling icon Diamond Dallas Page, Brittany Page, has revealed that she’s starting up her own league to rival some of the big hitters.
Brittany has apparently recruited a tonne of other second generation fighting hopefuls in a bid to give WWE and the rest a run for their money.
“We’re basically starting a women’s league and it’s gonna kinda go against Impact Wrestling, TNA.”
Speaking to TMZ, Brittany disclosed that Brooke Hogan (Hulk Hogan’s daughter), Lacey Von Erich (Kerry Von Erich), Ariel Toombs (Roddy Piper) and Bianca Van Damme (Jean-Claude Van Damme) are teaming up on the venture.
“We’re basically starting a women’s league and it’s gonna kinda go against Impact Wrestling, TNA,” she said.
Ex-TNA creative writer Christy Hemme is also said to be involved in scribbling storylines for the project, with Page’s Hall of Famer father Diamond Dallas expected to crop up at some point.
Pro wrestling is already looking like a crowded market at the moment – is there room for another league thrown into the mix? Only time will tell, but based on the star names involved things are looking promising.
