Britney Spears’s long-awaited Lifetime biopic was finally released over the weekend, and… it’s a pile of trash.
The trailer, which featured the infamous ‘hair shaving’ moment, had a lot of people excited recently, but the TV movie got a lot of hate on Twitter after airing.
Britney Ever After focuses heavily on her ‘breakdown’ in 2007, and also touched on the revelations surrounding her alleged sex tape and her marriage to Kevin Federline.
The film will air in the UK this month, but judging by the comments, it’s really not worth the wait.

Britney is played by Australian actress Natasha Bassett in the film, which focuses on the ups and down in the Toxic singer’s career, from her initial rise to fame, to darker times and then her subsequent return to the top.
Britney previously made it clear she’s no fan of the new film, and her representatives previously told EW that she won’t contribute to the film “in any way, shape or form… nor does it have her blessing.”
Judging by the reaction, it’s not hard to see why she didn’t approve.

Poor, Britney Spears! Had to deal with the industry, people using her, mental illness, & now Lifetime abusing her. #BritneyEverafter
