Britney Spears has admitted that she finds modern dating to be quite “hard” though she does have a clear idea of what she looks for in a man.

The 34-year-old was speaking on the subject during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, with quotes from the broadcast published by People.

Quizzed by the presenter on how she finds navigating the pitfalls of modern dating, Spears admitted she found it “hard”.

“A lot of men are about games,” she said.

“…The calling back and the texting, it’s just too much – it’s silly.”

The pop princess revealed that she is regularly set up with blind dates by a friend at home but that they don’t always go to plan.

“It’s just awkward because there’s so many times that you meet people and it’s just too awkward and you just don’t feel right,” Spears explained.

Any men out there looking to woo the Hit Me Baby One More Time singer were given hope though, with Spears going on to detail what she looks for in a manner.

“I like someone that’s just nice overall – just a nice guy is really groundbreaking in this world,” she revealed.

Despite this declaration Spears did admit that, on the whole, she is happy being single right now though those plans would surely change if the right guy came along.

So ditch the motorbike and the bad boy attitude – if you want to snare a lady like Spears in 2016 it’s all about being polite, charming and well-mannered.
