Brigitte Nielsen has labelled the sexual assault allegations levelled at ex-husband Sylvester Stallone as a complete fabrication.
Stallone was accused of historic sexual abuse in a story first published by The Daily Mail, which detailed a police report made by a teenage girl who alleged she was “intimidated” into a threesome with Stallone and his bodyguard, the late Michael De Luca.
In the report, the unidentified 16-year-old told the police the incident occurred at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Stallone was supposedly staying while filming Over The Top in the summer of 1986.
The girl claims she was invited to Stallone’s room for sex. However, she then resisted the invitation after Stallone invited De Luca to join them in the bedroom. She then alleges she was forced to give oral sex to both men, adding that Stallone then threatened to “bash her head in” if she took things any further.
According to the report, the woman was left “humiliated and ashamed” and decided not to press charges. Despite the disturbing nature of the claims, however, Stallone’s ex-wife, Nielsen has gone on the record to dismiss the allegations as a lie.
The 54-year-old, who was married to Stallone during production on Over The Top in 1986, claims the incident simply could not have occurred, as she and Stallone were “inseparable” at the time. Nielsen also noted that her days during this period would often consist of watching Stallone film scenes for the movie, before having dinner with him in their hotel suite, alone.
“During the summer of 1986 we were newlyweds. I was inseparable with Sylvester when ‘Over the Top’ was being shot in Las Vegas,” she told TMZ. “The story claims that at approximately 8:30 in the evening during the shoot of the movie the person claims she was in our suite at the Hilton Hotel.”
Nielsen also refuted the suggestion, made in the initial Daily Mail report, that she was the one who introduced the unnamed woman to Stallone, adding that her relatives were the only ones she introduced to the Rocky actor.
The Red Sonja actress added that she felt it was “unbelievable that Sylvester and his family have to suffer through this over something that never happened.” Stallone’s representatives have already dismissed the allegations as “categorically false” while Las Vegas police say they have no record of the initial report.
