He has had to bide his time for an opportunity to get back into the big time but it looks like Brendan Rodgers is finally closing in on a return to the game as the new manager of Celtic.
The Northern Irishman has held talks with the Hoops, according to Sky Sports, over a possible Parkhead move and has already been installed as the bookies’ favourite to take over at the Glasgow club.
If appointed, Rodgers could be the ideal man to bring the good times back to Celtic.
