Former Blink 182 guitarist Tom DeLonge has offered up declassified military footage of an Unidentified Flying Object.

The footage has been released as part of a fundraising exercise for the To The Stars Academy, the special organisation DeLonge quit Blink 182 to set up.

Along with a bunch of former NASA officials and Pentagon scientists, the musician has been busy investigating the existence of aliens.

In fact, some of the funds generated are being put aside to build a UFO, with DeLonge and the gang planning on taking to space to find signs of life away from Earth.

They need your money to do that though, which is why the To The Stars Academy has gone ahead and released this declassified military footage.

Taken from a US Navy F/A 18 Super Hornet fight, the footage shows the two pilots using an infrared camera to track a fast-moving white dot.

The video is keen to note the “excited state” the pilots are left in following the sighting. Something which apparently adds weight to the notion that this is an unexplained flying object.

It’s certainly baffling to watch, while their reaction definitely isn’t staged and could go some way to dispelling the notion that UFO sightings of this kind are actually evidence of the military testing out top-secret weapons.

DeLonge and his cohorts evidently think there is more to it and something tells is this won’t be the last time the To The Stars Academy ends up leaking footage like this online.
