Technology is constantly changing the way all of us live our lives, but one guy is feeling the benefits of technological advances more than most.

For British man Andrew Wardle, developments in the world of medicine and tech have transformed his approach to sex and sexual health in the most dramatic way possible.

Andrew suffered with the rare birth defect ‘bladder exstrophy’, which meant he was born without a penis.

Amazingly though, he now was a fully functioning bionic sex organ. After waiting three years for an operation, Andrew now has a fully operational mechanical penis, and he’s pretty pleased with it.

Andrew spoke to Holly Willougby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning with his girlfriend Fedra to discuss living with the bionic penis. Incredibly, the couple revealed that Fedra didn’t realise it was mechanical until she read about Andrew’s story in the newspaper.

Andrew also revealed that the penis was constructed using skin from his arm. Schofield asked him: “Were you tempted to ask them to take any more skin from your arm?”

“They don’t do sizes, You get what you’re given!” Andrew joked.

It’s not all good news though. Andrew also revealed that after turning on the device, he’ll be stuck with a “two week erection.”

There’s no doubt about it though – Andrew’s miracle member is the most incredible sexual health story to emerge in 2017.
