The Batmobile has to be one of the most iconic cars in the history of cinema. Thousands of us grew up playing with toy versions of the iconic car, and dreamt up our own Gotham adventures as kids.
It’s such a classic vehicle in fact, that there’s only one way you could possible make it cooler – by making a life-size replica out of Lego.
Thankfully, the guys at Chevrolet have done just that, and put together something that’s sure to delight the Batman fan in all of us.
The car manufacturers have revealed a one-off model of the Batmobile made from 340,000 lego bricks, which took a staggering 222 hours to design and 1,833 hours to build [via CNET].
The batmobile was revealed at the North American International Auto Show to celebrate the release of the upcoming Lego Batman Movie.
The model, which measures an impressive 17 feet long and stands 6 feet tall, was created by staff at Detroit’s Cody Rouge.
