Ashley Graham is adored by millions of fans online, but sadly, she’s been on the receiving end of harsh criticism on social media recently.
The stunning model has gained a reputation for being one of the most inspiring faces in the fashion industry, but a lot of fans have unfairly turned on her after her latest Vogue photoshoot.
Ashley appears on the front cover of the magazine’s March issue alongside the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendell Jenner, which was unveiled on Instagram last night.
Graham, of course, looks stunning in the shoot, but people have spoken out against her because of the pose she’s striking. See the image below:
It seems ridiculous, but some Twitter users were unhappy that Ashley wasn’t holding the model next to her, and shouldn’t have had her arm on her leg.
In fairness, some fans took issue with the magazine just as much as body positivity activist Ashley, with some saying she shouldn’t have been ‘forced’ to cover up her thigh with her arm.
The cover was intended to promote diversity in the fashion industry, but the publication has been criticised on Twitter for ‘covering Ashley’s body’ too.
And notice how they only had Ashley Graham cover her thigh. Gross af https://t.co/w8Mu2ojmsn

Ashley has since spoken out in defence of the shoot in an Instagram comment, saying: “I chose to pose like that. No one told me to do anything.”
Whatever you make of the image, it’s undeniable that Ashley is one of the most important models in the industry and a superstar we can all admire.
