Arrested Development Exclusive: The Bluths Win Family Of The Year

Ahead of the premiere of the show's fifth season, here's a sneak peek of what to expect.

Arrested Development is back.

The Bluths are back.

With less than a week to go until the fifth season of Arrested Development lands on Netflix, loaded has been given a sneak peek of what to expect from the new series.

The Bluths were born winners. That may have been largely down to George Sr’s nefarious real estate dealings but that’s really beside the point.

Winners win at any cost. So, it should hardly come as a surprise to learn that season five of Arrested Development finds our favourite dysfunctional family winning yet again.

This time around they are the rightful recipients of the O.C. Family of the Year award.

Well, it’s rightful in the sense that it’s actually been awarded by the Bluth-Austero Company. Lucille Bluth is keen to stress it’s mostly the Austero side but this is classic Bluth winning.

You can already see where this is going, and the exclusive clip featured above provides a glimpse of what to expect from the coming series.

Tony Hale’s Buster is still a mother’s boy, David Cross’s Tobias Funke is experimenting with wigs and Will Arnett’s Job is still trying and failing to dazzle with his magic tricks.

Arrested Development is back.

The new series will also Lindsay (Portia de Rossi) embark on a political career while Michael (Jason Bateman) just tries to keep it all together.

Family of the Year.
