Michael Moore, the filmmaker who has been fervently against Trump even when he was merely a reality star, has also been an outspoken opponent regarding Trump’s reign as President of the United States.
For one thing, he famously predicted the billionaire would win the presidency, and now he’s forecasting something even worse.
On his Twitter, he stated that the United States is in for quite the coup d’etat.
If you're still trying to convince yourself that a 21st century coup is not underway, please, please snap out of it https://t.co/uAz7o4BsvD

The blame, according to Moore, falls on Trump’s right hand Steve Bannon, the controversial and bigoted member of his inner circle – Moore’s new claim indicates a deliberate and systematic overthrow of America due to Bannon’s influence.
He linked his tweet to an article by the New York Times echoing this sentiment.
“Mr. Bannon is a deft operator within the White House, and he has been praised by Republicans who view him skeptically as the most knowledgeable on policy around the president. But his stated preference for blowing things up — as opposed to putting them back together — may not translate to his new role,” writes the New York Times.
A coup in its simplest definition is the ‘change in power from the top that merely results in the abrupt replacement of leading government personnel.’
Moore might be onto something yet again.
