All Signs Point To The Undertaker Making A WWE Comeback

Reports of Mark Calloway’s imminent retirement could be wide of the mark.

It’s looking increasingly like The Undertaker’s time in wrestling is far from over after a series of social media clues from both WWE and Mark Calloway himself.

Taker had appeared to call time on his career following his defeat to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33.

When the match was over, Calloway opted to leave his coat and hat in the centre of the ring. It was an act that was supposed to signal his time in the world of wrestling was at an end.

But there has yet to be any formal announcement, with Calloway going on to have surgery that could yet ensure he returns to the ring in the future.

In the meantime, WWE has kept quiet on the topic with commentator Michael Cole accidentally letting slip, live on air, that fans “may” have seen the end of the Undertaker at Wrestlemania – throwing further doubt on the legendary grappler’s future.

Now WWE has thrown further fuel on the fire with a Facebook posting featuring the Undertaker’s signature coat and jacket combo along with the caption “You can’t kill a dead man” alongside the hashtag #BLN1.

Calloway, meanwhile, was also pictured post-op looking better than ever on Father’s Day.

Uploaded to Instagram by Calloway’s wife, Michelle, the picture show’s the wrestling legend alongside his young daughter on Father’s Day.

Looking decidedly better than he has in previous months, there’s still some fans out there who believe The Undertaker could return to the ring in as early as August.

Happy Father's Day to these two studs! #loveandprotect ?

While sporadic appearances over the next few years look more likely, the WWE could certainly do with ‘Taker on board, given the near 20 per cent decline in audience viewing figures seen over the past few months.

As so often has been the case in the past, it would appear that the Undertaker is far from dead and buried just yet.
