Sir Alex Ferguson has given his tuppence on the situation with the England manager and he has offered up who he believes should be the next boss.
To the surprise of many, Ferguson, who some would actually give the job to, has opted to big up the credentials of Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce.
Ferguson hasn’t exactly been on the money when it comes to recommending managers – raise your hand, Mr. David Moyes – but Fergie reckons Big Sam could be the man and according to the Sun will tell the FA as much when he is asked to give his opinion.
Fergie never had a great relationship with the FA, so the theory that a Scottish man is picking an intentionally poor choice as England boss has no basis at all.
Not at all.
