Will Joyce get to relax now that her son is back?

Halloween seems like it’s ages away, specially if we consider that Netflix won’t release season 2 of Stranger Things until that day.

So we can all agree that we are desperate to know what happens next, right? Will we see more monsters? Is Eleven hanging out in the forest? Is Will still vomiting creepy slugs? Let’s find out…

1

The Upside Down will be a major element

Sure, we got to see a bit of it towards the end, but the Duffer Brothers, creators of the show, have hinted at the Upside Down’s return, and we can expect to see more of it and its secrets.

2

New characters

Season 2 has plenty of new additions, but the ones that we like the most are siblings Max and Billy, who will stir things up at Hawkins, and Sean Astin, the unforgettable Mickey from The Goonies and Samwise from The Lord of the Rings, who will play Joyce’s new boyfriend. We can already picture Hopper’s reaction…

3

More of Will and Steve

During the first season, Noah Schnapp (Will) and Joe Keery (Steve) were credited as recurring characters, but this next season sees them as series regulars, so we are in for more of Will re-adjusting to his pre-Upside Down life and Steve perfecting his hair.

4

Eleven is back!

Did you even doubt? Millie Bobby Brown has obviously confirmed it, and while Eleven seemed to meet her end at the season finale, we all know whom Chief Hopper was leaving food for. Also, the last episode is called The Lost Brother. Does this mean we will get to meet Eleven’s mysterious brother? Let’s hope so.

Justice for Barb

Yes, because she died and nobody except Nancy gave a shit. But don’t worry, because as Matt Duffer said recently, “We’ll make sure there’s some justice for Barb. People get very frustrated, understandably, that the town doesn’t seem to be really dealing with Barb. That stuff is all happening.”

Stranger Things will return to our Netflix-obssesed lives on October 31.
