The mother of all cheeseburger eating challenges is coming to London this February and you might want to brace yourself for this.
From February 2 to 16, The Roadhouse restaurant in Covent Garden is playing host to the mother of all cheeseburgers, weighing in at some 3kg and consisting of a whopping six patties.
That’s only the tip of the iceberg though; each patty has been injected with a difference kind of cheese including Jalapeno, Monterey Jack, Stilton and Red Leicester.
But wait, there’s more. In addition to this, a big apply hog dog has also been layed into this incredible leaning tower of patties, along with honey roasted ham, smoked ham, roast turkey, streaky bacon and chilli beef.
Topped off with American cheese and lettace alongside a soft brioche bun, the burger also comes with a one-pint jug of cheese sauce as well as fries and onion rings. Wow.
This incredible burger-based creation has been put together to celebrate the new series of Man vs Food, which is returning to our screens this Saturday January 27 with new host Casey Webb.
Those looking to take on the challenge need to contact the Roadhouse directly to book on 020 7240 6001. The first 50 people to complete this official Man vs Food challenge will get their meal for free.
Phillip Luff, Managing Director, UK & EMEA, Scripps Networks Interactive said: “Man v. Food is back on our screens with new food challenges and a brand new host. There hasn’t been any official Man v. Food challenges here in the UK as of yet, so we thought it’d be a perfect time to bring the love of bigger and bolder food to life.”
There are a maximum of 10 challenge spaces available per day on a first booked, first served basis. After that this hefty burger treat will set you back £30 but can be enjoyed free of charge if your plate is cleared within 15 minutes.
Does that sound easy to you? Time to put your money where your mouth is.
